Our Story

More than just a meal.

MOWdelco was originally founded in 1971 by a church group from Haverford Township who were interested in serving the hungry in their community. From this group, the non-profit corporation was officially established in 1974 with four service units created in Haverford, Media/Nether Providence, Marple-Newtown, and Aston/Brookhaven.

MOWdelco serves well over 15,000 meals to an average of 60 clients per month — all prepared and delivered by our awesome volunteer team.
